It is perfect injustice that some mobile companies in Kerala especially AIRCEL,AIRTEL and

IDEA, take additional charge for the "call to customer service " and for the "caller tunes "

they provide without our consent. We will lose Rs 30 at least for setting this caller tune,

and is without our knowledge.

At 8.10pm called customer executive Shalini over my Airtel mobile; she told Airtel will contact within 11/06/10; 50ps reduced for 3 minutes complaint registration!!!

15-06-10 - went to an Airtel outlet near to my house and made the compaint over the airtel phone there- time spent there from 7.45 - 8.05pm!
I also got a message stating about my complaint, again!
Over the phone the executive told me that my request made on 09-06-10 is on & assured me that I should get a call within 24 hours, which never happened till now "12.24pm, 25-07-10!" I, TILL NOW, HAVE NOT GOT ANY REFUND!
He also told me that I should not go again to any of the Airtel centres, carrying this complaint!

I made a call from my Reliance landline, from 9.30pm-9.42pm yesterday (24-07-10, Saturday), to Reliance (*333) to give the intimation that My Land Line is installed with a caller tune, without my consent & knowledge, which I came to know only yesterday (24-07-10, Saturday).

The executive said that it was activated from my side on 16-07-10, Friday & he had proof for that! He asked me if I wished to de-activate the caller tune to which I told that as I had not activated it I was not going to give a request for de-activation & I had made the call ONLY to intimate that "A CALLER TUNE IS ACTIVATED ON MY LANDLINE WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE & I AM GOING TO SUE RELIANCE IF I AM CHARGED FOR WHAT I HAVE NOT DONE!"

The fact is that from 15th evening (I boarded the bus to Kerala on 15th Thursday, just after 10.45pm with my wife, from (near) the Madiwala Police Station, Bangalore!) to yesterday morning (24-07-10, Saturday) 8.15, I was not in my house! I returned
from Kerala only yesterday morning & the landline was switched on only after 8.15 yesterday (24-07-10, Saturday) morning! Then, how come I make a request for a caller tune from my Bangalore Reliance land line number, when I was not physically present there in Bangalore?!

INSURING WITH ONE Mr.Yuvaraj!

This is what happened when I went to one Mr.Yuvaraj, in one Reliance outlet, to renew my bike’s insurance on 13-01-12, one day before it got expired!

It was the third consecutive year I have been doing it with him! So, what happened in the next couple of days was something I never ever thought would have happened; but it happened as I tell you below!

Hence, whenever you go for insuring or reinsuring MAKE SURE INSURING HAPPENS THEN & THERE INFRONT OF YOUR EYES that you don’t have to think & then spent more time, energy, money & sometimes LIFE on the things which are not under direct control of human beings!

HOW IT ALL STARTED!

13-01-2012 -
In the evening after waiting for 50 or so mins after calling him he came & taking 600/- issued a document for one day period stating that the very next day he would give the original document as he had to get 'Special Sanction' after sending a 'Special Request' to someone higher in the hierarchy!

HOW IT ALL CONTINUED!

14-01-2012 -
As I hadn't got the document I called him after 6 in the evening or so but he didn’t pick up the phone; but after 15 or 20 mins he called me back & asked me to come to his shop leaving 15 or so mins. Around 7 pm I reached there & then he told me that the document was still not ready & he would sent me email copy of the same without much delay & hand over the document in person, near Sinjana Hotel, around 9 in the same evening, while he going to his home; but that too didn't happen!

After that I waited........! From Wednesday I started to call him again; but his number was out of coverage area! Then, I went to his shop on Friday evening & I was told (By the security @ the Reliance Outlet) that he had gone to Velankanni & would come back the next day ie Saturday; & he asked me to come the very next day evening if I wished to meet him.

21-01-2012 -
10.27am - 1min 22sec - I called his number & got it ringing; he attended the call & told me he would give a call very soon regarding the document. As there was no sign of his call I called him @ 3.43pm to which he didn’t respond!

4.26pm - 2mins 11secs - He called me & told he would send me the document via mail, on 22-01-12, Sunday morning as he hadn't got the document sent from somebody else who was really in possession of the same!

HOW IT ALL ENDED!

26-01-2012 -
As I didn’t get any insurance document via mail till then, I called him @ 5.57pm for 56secs & asked him why he hadn't sent me the document to which he told me that after half an hour or so he would go to his shop & from there he would give me a call & ask my email ID again & sent the document via it!

As there was no sign of his call again I called him @ 7.46pm, but he didn’t pick up the phone.

And, @ 7.48pm I got a call from him lasting 1min 18sec in which he collected my email, again, & told that he would sent the insurance copy via email & if I failed to get it within 10 to 15 mins I would have to give him a call! I waited & got the insurance policy copy via my yahoo mail ID. And, to my great surprise, I found out that the insurance was taken ONLY on 26-01-12, EXACTLY 13 DAYS AFTER I HANDED OVER THE MONEY TO HIM!

THE MORAL OF THE STORY!

What would have happened if I would have met with an accident in these 13 days or the bike had been stolen, as my insurance had lapsed 12 days ago? It is interesting & at the same time stupid to know that I kept riding all these days FEELING INSURED & trusting an agent of an insurance company to whom I had given the insurance premium 13 days back?!

Its Shocking!- Only 3 Crore!

We cannot expect any miracle on this front..what ever happening is a part of the system which is prevailing for more than 50 years now....and there is a steady increase in criminal cases as well...the people..should come forward & speak out...strongly...without looking at the "party"..they belongs..to?

Starting a platform where everyone can share their complaints or make his or her complaints visible has been in my mind for very long time! I wished to have/create a fair platform where everyone –Read the proverbial COMMONMAN (COMMONWOMAN AS WELL!)- can share the problems he or she faced with all the others that the others get automatically equipped with all the sorts of arsenals to cope with the same or similar type of situations/problems!

As years went by I couldn’t do what I wished to build for years – A Platform For Genuine Complaints! Then, I started a community ‘Complaint Box India’ ( http://www.orkut.com/Community.aspx?cmm=27299806 ) in ‘Orkut’ to have some result! But things didn’t work out as I wished & the results were something near to non existent! Though results were not as good as expected one thing that materialised with the ‘Orkut’ community was that people read the articles posted in the community & someone, now & then, commented on certain topics; that was something interesting! Then, some day somebody started to post their grievances as well..!

While those things were going on in the ‘Orkut’ community ‘Complaint Box India’, we registered the website www.complaintboxindia.com –I think, it was done in 2007! - in our name in the hope that the ‘Orkut’ community could one day be extended to the website with a good number of following! But, luckily or unluckily the website haven’t come into real existence till date due to a lot of simple reasons!

That is when I thought about adding another blog in the name of ‘Complaint Box India’ (www.indiancomplaintbox.blogspot.com) to my collection of blogs I have been running all these years with complete dedication & enthusiasm! And, hence, this blog is born! Here I wish to carry forward the work I started with the ‘Orkut’ community ‘Complaint Box India’ & mature into www.complaintboxindia.com one day!

Here, in this blog, I would try to post whatever that comes to me as complaints, suggestions, copies of whatever that is posted on the NET related to complaints & their solutions, addresses & telephone numbers which are related to complaint registration etc & whatever that will be helpful for the common man/public to mitigate the problems they face in the day to day life! Anyone, who is interested in the elevation of the society & by that way, the country can join me in this effort to lessen the burden the people face going through the day to day existence!
I would welcome all the sorts of positive ideas regarding our blog via email, short messages, comments, personal interactions etc!
